JobSub is an invitation-only job alert service operated by a single individual. This policy describes exactly what data JobSub holds and why.
Nothing. This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no third-party scripts, fonts, or trackers, and has no login. Standard web server logs are handled by the hosting provider and are not used by JobSub.
Only what you type into the JobSub preference form:
JobSub does not collect or store resumes, phone numbers, addresses, employment history, payment information, or any special-category personal data.
Solely to match newly published public job postings against your stated preferences and email you the matches, and to send you service messages such as the opt-in confirmation. Your data is never used to train models, is never sold, rented, or shared for advertising, and is never disclosed to the companies whose postings are monitored.
JobSub uses a third-party language model service to normalize the text of public job postings only. No subscriber data is ever included in those requests.
Your data is retained while your subscription is active. Clicking the unsubscribe link in any JobSub email stops all sending immediately. To have your address and preferences deleted entirely, email hello@jobsub.app; requests are honored within 7 days. Suppression records may be kept indefinitely for the sole purpose of ensuring a removed address is never contacted again.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing hello@jobsub.app. Re-submitting the preference form replaces your stored preferences.
Material changes to this policy will be announced by email to active subscribers before taking effect.
